The Hero's Circle
OUR "WHY"
Parental alienation is a covert form of child abuse and domestic violence. In the heated debate over parental alienation and coercive control, there is a voice missing: The voice of the children. As such, we, an alliance of adult children of parental alienation, joined forces and created The Hero’s Circle.
As adult children, we have no motives. We are not fighting for custody. We are not trying to lower the amount of child support payments. We are not trying to get even with our exes. We are the victims of child abuse that the world neglected. We want this form of abuse to be recognized and abolished.
WHY US?
We are the only ones that can really tell you what the alienators have done to us behind closed doors. We can tell you how alienation has impacted our lives and how the system failed in protecting us and our targeted parents.
We are the only ones that can tell you how we woke up to the lies and what have or have not worked in reunification.
To realize that we were abused and have lived a big part of our life in a lie is extremely traumatic. The journey to reexamine truths vs. lies, to reconnect with our alienated parents, and to heal is a long and treacherous one. We understand this more than anyone, and as such, we can provide support for other children victims.
